More fun on the river!

So how about we also collect vintage soda bottles. Good we can use them too!

They went on the cocktail tables.

Why not use river rock for the place cards. I actually stole that idea from a previous wedding.
I think it is so cute in this setting.
Kyle had the giant fishing lure. Sure it looked awesome at the bar.
Remember if it's you and you like it use it. Have fun on your wedding day!

Announcing the Official Start!

Green Orchid Design Studio The collaborative effort of two sisters who have been in the wedding and party business for over 20 years!

Jessie was our first bride and what a treat! She and her fiance met on the internet and it was love at first sight.

Kyle loves to fish and they both love to collect. We used Kyle's vintage collection of fishing lures in the table
arrangements in Jessie's Mason jar collection. Very earthy, very gardeny. "I want it to look like I picked the flowers along a garden path" she told us. There were river rocks, buttons and other vintage collected items included in the decorations at the historic Center Bridge Inn.
This will take two posts because the pictures are just to cool not to include.

More blue and white and sunshine!

The Bride said "I want a big blue ball of hydrangea with white roses in the center" What a fun look. The bridesmaids carried white roses, hydrangea and light blue delphinium. The centerpeices were blue hydrangea in squre vases on the tables at The Bridgetown Mill House.
It was a beautiful Sunny, Hot afternoon in August, the good weather fairy was at work again!

The cupcake tower was awesome.
I have seen quite a few of these over the past few years,
instead of wedding cake.
This one was particularly nice.

Blue and White Wedding

Blues and whites what a lovely combo. We did the groom's sisters wedding last summer and so of course were asked back for this wedding.
The light blue delphinium and white roses and hydrangea complimented this medium blue dress just perfectly.
For the reception tables we alternated hydrangea and stock. What an incredible smell stock has.
It made for a cool texture too!
I love the board for the escort table and there was an awesome photo album of the bride and groom growing up.

Back to the Washington Crossing Winery

The weather could have been better. We were at the Washington Crossing Winery. It was almost a year later from the spectacular fall wedding weather of last year, alas we couldn't reproduce the weather but the flowers were of course incredible.

Whites, creams with a touch of burgundy. So elegant. The bride carried a cascade and her bridesmaids had hand-tied bouquets.

Of course we had to have grapes in the centerpieces. Whites and creams on the burgundy tablecloths. Gorgeous! And oh yeah, the wedding took place outside, the rain went away!! The Good weather fairy was at work again!!

Stocking Works Wedding

It was a gorgeous August Saturday. One of the few this year.
The setting for the ceremony was the Stocking Works.
It was a fun and unusual setting.
