We seemed to have cornered the market on fun weddings this past summer.

And...do you see the sun shining behing the wedding cake!

Yes, we had another gorgeous day and what fun flower choices.

Pink gerber daisies, orange lilies and green hydrangea what says summer better?

Simple hand-tied bouquets went well with tea length raspberry pink cocktail dresses.

I arrived at the brides mothers home and everyone was relaxing and ready for the day.  It was such a nice atmosphere to start the fun events of the day.

Weddings, weddings, weddings...

Our friend's daughter got married Labor Day weekend. The weather (there is a recurring theme here!) was incredible! The wedding was at Blue Bell Country Club. My friend picked out these cute little vases for the shepherds hooks. We had done another wedding where the bride had used mason jars for the vases and I showed Joanna the picture and she loved the idea. So...she went shopping and found these, they are actually for candles.  


What a fun look for an outside wedding!




The reception centerpeices were candles surrounded by rings of flowers on half of the tables and glass bubble vases on other half of the tables.

The flowers were amazing!

Sunflowers, sunflowers, sunflowers and more sunflowers!
I have to sadly report that the weather DID NOT co-operate for this wedding.
If you read my blog you will realize that MOST of the time the weather does co-operate.
However, with this many sunflowers it did not matter!!

The sun was shining in all of our heads and hearts. The bride was gorgeous as usual and the reception site became incredibly fun once the floral arrangments were in place. There were three different types of arrangments.
   
The topiaries, the wheelbarrels and low tight arrangments. This creates visual interest throughout the room. The guests see something different everywhere they look. This adds to the ambiance of the wedding!
