Back to the Washington Crossing Winery

The weather could have been better. We were at the Washington Crossing Winery. It was almost a year later from the spectacular fall wedding weather of last year, alas we couldn't reproduce the weather but the flowers were of course incredible.

Whites, creams with a touch of burgundy. So elegant. The bride carried a cascade and her bridesmaids had hand-tied bouquets.

Of course we had to have grapes in the centerpieces. Whites and creams on the burgundy tablecloths. Gorgeous! And oh yeah, the wedding took place outside, the rain went away!! The Good weather fairy was at work again!!

Stocking Works Wedding

It was a gorgeous August Saturday. One of the few this year.

The setting for the ceremony was the Stocking Works.

It was a fun and unusual setting.

  

Sunshine Foundation Golf Outing 2009

My boy, My man, my bestest friends all played together on a gorgeous Sunday in September to raise money for the Sunshine Foundation.

We have been participating in this event for over 10 years and it is THE best time. Our friends, alot the regulars from Poco's restaraunt in Doylestown, all come out and volunteer for the day. We do 50-50 closest to the pin and hole in one chances. If things get tough we even wash balls to raise money! Anything for the kids it is a great cause.
This year we raised over 8500.00 dollars with most of the credit going to Glen Wilby who puts the whole thing together.

Outback Steakhouse donates all the food and over 100 golfers played, ate and drank for a fabulous cause. Glen you are an amazing man!

Wayne from Poco's sells over a thousand dollars worth of raffle tickets! What a guy! We love you Big Daddy!

Flowers For kids and kids at heart

Flowers for kids and kids at heart is an interactive, fun learning program for kids and kids at heart!
We come to your school or activity center and we bring lots and lots of flowers.
We present an easy lesson on flower growing, cut flower care and flower arranging.

The presentation in the photo was given to an intergenerational program in our area. Kids and seniors came and we had a quick hour of discussion, laughter and learning.

At the end of the lesson we show everyone how to make a beautiful bouquet which they get to take home!

We had so much fun! So did the kids, so did the seniors!
